A carpet of sixty thousand knots per m² is classified as being not very dense. In contrast, a very thin carpet will have around six hundred thousand knots per m². This is a very time-consuming job that requires great technical expertise, involving, in addition, a great deal of effort from the physical point of view. A high density rug takes at least two years to be produced and for that the weaver has to work intensively.
